The award-winning Dreamhouse Theater Company returns after a four-year hiatus with a new season of shows and a new home. The first production as the new resident company at Jet Studios in North Hollywood, will be an emotionally-charged new look at Arthur Miller's extraordinary play, ALL MY SONS, directed by Dreamhouse Theater Company's Artistic Director Alex Sol. ALL MY SONS will open tonight, July 20 and continue through Sunday, September 2 at the Jet Theatre, 5126 Lankershim Blvd. in North Hollywood.

Juilliard's Drama Division announces the complete schedule for its 2012-2013 season of fully-staged productions featuring students in their fourth and final year of acting training in the drama program at Juilliard.

Throughline Artists (J.J. Kandel, Executive Producer; John McCormack, Producing Artistic Director) will present SUMMER SHORTS 2012, their sixth annual festival of new American short plays from established and emerging writers, at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street). Performances will begin Thursday July 26th, and continue through Saturday September 1st.

The Raleigh company present three wonderful performances: a musical performance by the renown Ed Stephenson & the Paco Band, performances of Durang/Durang by Bare Theatre, both at Burning Coal, and a performance by Opera NC in Cary.

Sonnet Repertory Theatre celebrates a decade of producing classic theatre for the modern planet with a world-premiere adaptation of Oscar Wilde's The Picture of Dorian Gray, by Michael Raver, directed by Quin Gordon. The Picture of Dorian Gray will begin performances on Thursday, August 9, with an official opening slated for Friday, August 10, at The Studio Theatre at The Pershing Square Signature Center.

Revolve Productions will present "PIECES" by Chris Phillips at the 16th New York International Fringe Festival this August.

The Broadway production of Tennessee Williams' A Streetcar Named Desire was awarded the Extraordinary Excellence in Diversity on Broadway Award for the 2011-2012 Season from Actors' Equity Association (AEA) on Tuesday. The show, produced by Front Row Productions (Stephen Byrd, Alia Jones-Harvey), received the honor at a presentation at Equity headquarters. Christine Toy Johnson and Julia Breanetta Simpson (AEA Co-chairs Eastern Regional Equal Employment Opportunity Committee) presented the award, which turns the spotlight onto those doing exemplary work to promote the goals of diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity in theatre. Tennessee Williams' favorite among his own plays, the Pulitzer prize-winning Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, opens Saturday, July 21st on the Pennsylvania Shakespeare Festival main stage, in rep with Much Ado About Nothing.

Horse Trade Theater Group announces the fall and early spring lineup for their 14th season, which will include World Premiere productions from Horse Trade's newest resident companies, Theater in Asylum, Less Than Rent, Slash Coleman, and Spookfish Theatre Company and veteran residents Grayce Productions, Dysfunctional Theatre Company, and The Pumpkin Pie Show.

TINY BUBBLES is a new comedy by Richard Willett (TRIPTYCH, THE FLID SHOW, RANDOM HARVEST), being given its New York premiere this summer, opening tonight, July 16 at the Medicine Show Theatre (549 W. 52 St.) in Manhattan.

On Saturday evening, July 28th, at 7:30 p.m. center stage at The Burt Reynolds Institute for Film and Theatre (BRIFT) will come alive in the most hilarious of ways. Three short plays by award-winning writer Christopher Durang will be performed by actors trained by Hollywood legend Burt Reynolds.

Actors Theatre of Alabama and Birmingham Festival Theatre present Tennessee Williams' The Glass Menagerie, July 12 - Aug 5. The production is directed by Will York, featuring Celeste Burnum, Jonathan Miles, Amanda Maddox and Trey York.
