Adapted by original playwright Joe Hortua and film director Dan Mirvish, BETWEEN US is a dark comedy in which two couples who are old friends reunite over the course of two incendiary evenings where anything can happen.The film explores theme of bittersweet friendship between two couples, as they discover their lives are tarnished by money, success, sex and children. On the series finale of PRIVATE PRACTICE, entitled 'In Which We Say Goodbye,' ABC's hit drama 'Private Practice' will end its run with a special farewell to the beloved doctors of Seaside Health and Wellness. Naomi returns to stand by Addison's side on her wedding day, Cooper struggles with the hardships of being a stay-at-home father, and Violet begins a new project close to her heart. The episode airs TUESDAY, JANUARY 22 (10:00-11:00 p.m., ET) on the ABC Television Network.

The Hollywood Reporter has confirmed that PARENTHOOD's Sarah Ramos will guest star on the series finale of ABC's PRIVATE PRACTICE on Jan. 22.

Today in 1972, Broadway veteran Taye Diggs was born. In 1996, he originated the role of the landlord Benny in Jonathan Larson's Tony Award- and Pulitzer Prize-winning Rent, which also starred his future wife, Idina Menzel. After Rent he appeared as Mr. Black alongside Idina Menzel's character of Kate in Andrew Lippa's off-Broadway production of The Wild Party. Diggs also played The Bandleader in the 2002 film version of the long-running Broadway revival of Chicago and filled in as Billy Flynn on Broadway. He also temporarily filled in for Norbert Leo Butz (an original Rent standby) as the love interest Fiyero of Idina Menzel's Elphaba character in Wicked.

Tony Award-winning Idina Menzel is in a class of performers who simply defy description. She has an extraordinary quality that must be experienced up close and personal, for it's not only the tremendously dynamic voice that impresses but a wildly disarming charisma that holds you spellbound. On New Year's Eve her 7:00 pm show at the Walt Disney Concert Hall lasted about 90 minutes, but seemed to fly by in a flash.
