Adia Victoria has announced the forthcoming release of her new album, A Southern Gothic.  The LP is out September 17 via Canvasback Records. The record was executive produced by T Bone Burnett, and features guest contributions from Jason Isbell, Margo Price, and Matt Berninger.  Today Adia reveals the first single off A Southern Gothic, “Magnolia Blues.”   She notes:

When it came time to record, the band planned on working once again with legendary producer Ethan Johns (Ray LaMontagne, Laura Marling, Kings of Leon), who’d helmed Chasing Lights back in England.

An enduring and popular classic, “Come Rain Or Come Shine” is emotionally redefined by Lieberum, with a foundation of moody atmospheres and lush cinematics created by her producer and collaborator, BAFTA-winning composer and musician Keefus Ciancia.

The husband-wife duo Chris Turpin and Stephanie Jean has also shared the title track from the record, which features a blistering guitar performance from Marcus King.
