Broadway's most talked about new musical and the biggest Tony Award®-winner in years is coming to San Jose. SPRING AWAKENING, the 8-time Tony Award® winning Broadway musical, will be presented by Broadway San Jose, the Bay Area's newest showcase for Broadway shows October 28 - November 1 at the San Jose Center for Performing Arts.

WICKED, the most anticipated musical production of the 2009 - 2010 season will go on sale to the public on Friday, October 30 at 8:00 a.m.; tickets will be exclusively available at the Schuster Center Box Office at Second and Main Streets, Dayton, OH 45402. Local radio stations Lite 99.9 FM and Mix 107.7 will be broadcasting live from the event and hosting trivia contests.

The 8-time Tony Award winning Broadway musical will open at the Community Center Theater in downtown Sacramento and will play for 2 weeks beginning Wednesday, November 4 and running through Sunday, November 15.

Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) will welcome back Stephen Sondheim & James Lapine to Studio 54 with Sondheim on Sondheim, a new original Broadway musical starring Barbara Cook, Vanessa Williams, Michael Arden & Leslie Kritzer. Music & lyrics are by Stephen Sondheim, conceived & directed by James Lapine.

La Jolla Playhouse presents the world premiere of Creditors, adapted and directed by Pulitzer Prize-winner Doug Wright (I Am My Own Wife) from the play by August Strindberg. A La Jolla Playhouse commission, Creditors runs September 29 ? October 25 in the Sheila and Hughes Potiker Theatre.

Spring Awakening, the eight-time Tony-Award winning Broadway show, will visit Segerstrom Hall for a two-week engagement November 17 - 29. Spring Awakening swept the 2007 Tony Awards winning eight out of its 11 nominations, including Best Musical, Best Director (Michael Mayer), Best Book (Steven Sater), Best Choreography (Bill T. The Tampa Bay Performing Arts Center will present the World Premiere of Wonderland: Alice's New Musical Adventure. The production will debut in Tampa on Saturday, Dec. 5, 2009 in TBPAC's Ferguson Hall, the music for Wonderland is by Frank Wildhorn, the composer of The Civil War and Jekyll & Hyde, with book and lyrics by Jack Murphy.
