A living legend during his lifetime, Keith Moon still stands as the pinnacle of rock-star extremism- both in life and music. Keith Moon: The Real Me explores the mind of wayward drummer as he attempts to save himself from the unbearable burden of living up (or down) to his self-created legend of 'Moon the Loon'. As Keith attempts to save himself, he takes the audience on a journey through his early struggles, his joining The Who, and their rise as one of the world's greatest rock bands. The whow explores his acute vulnerability and insecurity, and his struggle to escape the ever-looming rock and roll crash landing.

Los Angeles-based band JEMS will release their debut self-titled album on May 17 (pre-order). In anticipation of Friday's release date the album is streaming in full at Buzzbands LA. About the album Buzzbands LA says, 'JEMS (out Friday) has a lot to offer. 'Right on Time' speaks to yielding to the power of love while maintaining one's own identity. The organ-drenched 'Like Myself' reinforces the notion of taking a stand and finding a truth outside somebody else's “jurisdiction.” Album opener 'Take Me Back' longs for a simpler time — not out of nostalgia but as way of reconnecting with a spirit of freedom uncluttered by compromise. Ahead of International Day Against Homophobia this Friday, Washington, DC-based powerhouse Heather Mae has unveiled 'You Are My Favorite,' a new video and track from her forthcoming album GLIMMER, due out September 20th. The song, inspired by Mae's own wedding vows, is a tribute to her wife and to LGBTQ+ couples across the globe.

Today the band shared, 'Right On Time,' the latest single from the forthcoming release withThe Bluegrass Situation. About the song the band told The Bluegrass Situation, ''Right on Time' is a true trio song. We wrote it together recounting our individual experiences with love igniting a spark in a dark or lost time. We have all experienced being on the right side of timing with respective relationships. The song sets a scene that begins in a somewhat slumbered state and steadily builds to an awakening that nature and the movement of the world is sometimes on our side. We love the way we get to share the storytelling of this song musically and lyrically as three individual but connected women.'

Promising young singer-songwriter Loveday has delivered her maiden EP Temporal Experiment No.1, an enchanting record that conveys an emotional maturity far beyond her years. 

Washington, DC-based artist Heather Mae has announced the forthcoming release of her new album GLIMMER, due out September 20th. Mae is here to shake up the status quo with her message: 'Feel To Heal.' Unfazed by what a typical pop artist today is “supposed” to look like and how the typical pop artist is “supposed” to sound, the award-winning songwriter whose evocative vocals and rhythmic piano style call to mind artists like Stevie Nicks and Sara Bareilles, creates intoxicating music that tackles complex topics surrounding mental health, LGBTQ+ issues, self-love, racial injustice, social inequality, and women's rights. It was 2002 when Norbert Leo Butz and Sherie Rene Scott premiered Jason Robert Brown's THE LAST FIVE YEARS Off-Broadway. They had worked together before that, however, in 1997 in the Broadway cast of RENT. If their joint concert at Feinstein's/54 Below on April 26-May 2 is to be believed, theirs has been a tumultuous relationship.

GRAMMY Award-winning DJ and producer duo Ali 'Dubfire' Shirazinia and Sharam Tayebi known as DEEP DISH built a celebrated legacy based on musical innovation and explosive DJ appearances. On April 13 & 20, 2019, Deep Dish (who disbanded in 2006) will reunite once again for a rare appearance at Coachella celebrating 15 years since they last appeared at the coveted festival.
