In an all new INTO THE WOODS featurette titled 'Stage to Screen', the cast and creative team of the Disney hit film discuss bringing Stephen Sondheim's masterful stage production to the big screen.

INTO THE WOODS star Anna Kendrick stopped by last night's Seth Meyers and spoke to the host about her recent trip to the Prospect Park Zoo and her new love of red pandas.

UC Irvine's Claire Trevor School of the Arts (CTSA) Drama Department will produce Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's musical PASSION with guest Director Kent Nicholson, January 23 - 25, 2015. The play is an essential part of the Department's second themed season - LOVE, LUST AND GREED.

Disney's hit musical adaptation of INTO THE WOODS has been drawing in large chunks of change at the box office and has captured the attention of the world. Luckily for score enthusiasts, Walt Disney Records released 1 hour and 38 minutes worth of musical material across 2 discs, which has been broken into 50 palatable tracks.

THE WAY WE WERE is conjured from the life and music of Barbra Streisand: a rags-to-riches story of Streisand's life in the Bronx, brought to life by Cat Simoni.

Broadway fans had plenty of reasons to celebrate this year, with dozens of shows having opened since January, hundreds of actors having made their debuts, and many more having returned to the stage for critically acclaimed performances. Not all news was good though, as we also suffered a loss of an incredible amount of talent. Below, BroadwayWorld sends a fond farewell to those who passed away in 2014.

The much anticipated Disney adaptation of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's INTO THE WOODS stays relatively true to the original musical but does omit some songs and modifies some of the plotlines.
