ImprovBoston presents A 35-Hour Comedy Marathon to Celebrate its 35th Anniversary

ImprovBoston welcomes back 35 years worth of alumni for a historic 35-Hour Comedy Marathon on August 5 & 6. A fundraiser for the New England comedy staple, the event features more than 90 laugh-out-loud comedy acts including sketch, standup, character work, improv, musical improv, late-night bit shows, and more. All proceeds from the event will benefit the nonprofit theater's facility upgrades, scheduled for the week of August 7th.

Tony Winner Laura Benanti has officially joined the cast of the hit TBS comedy, THE DETOUR for Season 3. The show was created, written and executive-produced by Jason Jones and Samantha Be. It was just renewed for it's latest season, which begins shooting this summer.

LATE SHOW Widens Last Week's Margin of Victory to Nearly +1 Million Viewers

THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT widened last week's margin of victory to +970,000 viewers (from +450,000 viewers live plus same day) and tied for first in adults 18-49, according to Nielsen live plus 3-day ratings for the week ending July 21, which featured shows tied to the host's recent trip St. Petersburg and Moscow.
