Steppenwolf Theatre Company presents the Chicago premiere production of Grand Concourse, a play full of both humor and heart by Heidi Schreck. Directed by ensemble member Yasen Peyankov, the cast features ensemble members Francis Guinan and Tim Hopper sharing the role of Frog and Mariann Mayberry as Shelley with Brittany Uomoleale as Emma and Victor Almanzar as Oscar.

Bella Poynton is a playwright and Buffalo native, currently working as a teaching artist throughout the Buffalo and Central NY regions. Her plays have been developed at the Great Plains Theater Conference, Otherworld Theater, The Science Fiction Theater Company, Panndora Productions, and The Barrow Group. Stageworks Theatre is revving its engines for what is sure to be a summer to remember in the Channel District with the works of Pulitzer Prize-winning dramatist Stephen Adly Guirgis, whose play, The Mother****er With the Hat, will run July 9-26 after, which recently had a successful run in London by a local theatre company.

Atlantic Theater Company presents revivals of Ghost Stories: The Shawl and Prairie du Chien, two haunting short plays by Atlantic co-founder and Pulitzer Prize winner David Mamet.
