Cherry Lane Theatre will host a post-show panel: The Influence of Influencers, after the performance ACTUALLY, WE'RE F**KED, a new play by Matt Williams on Saturday, March 9 at 9pm. The panel will feature social media influencers Ari Freedy (@arifreedy), Lillian Isabella (@LillianIsabela), Laura Haywood (@broadwaygirlnyc), Jordan Mericle (@jordanmericlemusic), and Matisse Williams (@tisse) and at Cherry Lane Theatre (38 Commerce St. in Manhattan).

Pigeon keepers are an interesting and unique, albeit diminishing, subset of humans, and within that group is a subset, presumably small, of people who identify with the birds. Taking it one step further, Birdy, the protagonist in Naomi Wallace's adaptation of William Wharton's novel BIRDY, identifies, not with, but as a bird. Strange as it sounds, it may be the most sane response to an insane world in this drama that toggles back and forth between a pre-World War II Philadelphia suburb and an Army hospital in post-war Kentucky. It is a war story that plays out on the battlefield of an intense, intimate friendship, where the psychological wounds are more damaging and enduring than the physical ones. Steve Maler's skillful direction unleashes a dazzling palette of colorful performances, each actor contributing a broad brush stroke to the communal masterpiece.

The TILT Kids Festival 2019 opens at FIAF with The Young Girl, the Devil and the Mill, a musical written and directed by celebrated theater maker and director of the world-renowned Festival d'Avignon, Olivier Py.

Meet Miss Baker has begun, with previews of The Price of Thomas Scott, directed by Mint Theater Artistic Director Jonathan Bank. Performances began January 24th and continue through March 23rd at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street). Opening Night is set for February 20th.

Meet Miss Baker will kick off tomorrow, Thursday evening, with The Price of Thomas Scott, directed by Mint Theater Artistic Director Jonathan Bank.

Rainy Day Productions will present industry readings of the new play Chasing the River by Jean Dobie Giebel. Directed by Illana Stein, the six-member cast will feature Tony Carlin, Aaron Costa Ganis, Annie Golden, Deborah Rayne, Chet Siegel, and Wendy Rich Stetson. Executive Producers Pam Carter and The Cliplight Theater, in conjunction with Amanda Cooper/ALC Management, are pleased to announce the world premiere of Maverick, co-authored by Frank Beacham and George Demas. A dramatization of co-author Beacham's real-life experience collaborating with Orson Welles in the months leading up to his death, Maverick begins previews at The Connelly Theater (220 E. 4th St., between Ave. A & Ave. B) on February 6, with opening night set for February 13 for a limited run through March 2. Mint announced "Meet Miss Baker," Mint's latest effort in its ongoing commitment to create new life for neglected women playwrights. From Pulitzer-Prize winning plays by Zona Gale and Susan Glaspell, to forgotten works by Rachel Crothers, Cicely Hamilton, Githa Sowerby, Hazel Ellis, Maurine Dallas Watkins, Lillian Hellman, Rose Franken and Dawn Powell, Mint has long been a champion of neglected plays by women. Up next is English playwright Elizabeth Baker, who will receive three productions, each getting their American premiere, over the next two years.

La Femme Theatre Productions will host a talk-back entitled Williams's Women following the performance of Tennessee William's A Lovely Sunday for Creve Coeur, directed by Austin Pendleton on Thursday, October 18, 2018.  The talk-back panel will include Charlotte Moore, who played Helena in the original production of this play and will be joins by the current cast of Kristine Neilson, Annette O'Toole, Jean Lichty, Polly McKie and director Austin Pendleton.
