Broadway leading ladies Anneliese van der Pol, Aisha Jackson, Krysta Rodriguez, and Steffanie Leigh, together with Adam J. Levy and Benjamin Rauhala, music supervisor, kicked off 'Disney Princess The Concert' Philippine tour at the Samsung Performing Arts Theater, Circuit Makati, over the weekend.

Broadway’s leading ladies Krysta Rodriguez, Anneliese van der Pol, Aisha Jackson, and Steffanie Leigh will star in 'Disney Princess, The Concert' in Manila (Nov. 18-19, Samsung Performing Art Theater), Davao (Nov. 21, SMX Convention Center), and Cebu (Nov. 22, Waterfront Hotel Cebu City).

The leading ladies are Broadway's Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins, War Paint), Isabelle McCalla (Aladdin, The Prom), Storm Lever (Six, The Donna Summer Musical) and Australia's own original 'Belle' from Beauty and the Beast, Rachael Beck.

Lerner and Loewe’s Camelot, the 1960 musical based on the legend of King Arthur and his knights of the round table and adapted from the T.H. White novel The Once and Future King, is now onstage in Franklin, in an entertaining, sparkling and winningly fast-paced rendition from Studio Tenn. Under the direction of Broadway veteran Phillip William McKinley (The Boy From Oz, Spiderman: Turn Off the Dark) who, with his creative team, brings to life the show’s 2010 update by multiple Emmy Award-winning, multi-hyphenate television producer David Lee (Frasier, Wings, The Jeffersons).

Today we rewind to 2015, when the first revival of Gigi arrived on Broadway. The musical opened on April 8 at the Neil Simon Theatre, where it ran for 86 performances.

Gravitas Ventures, a Red Arrow Studios company, has acquired Sam Zalutsky's revenge thriller SEASIDE for a digital release on August 20. The film is Zalutsky's second feature film, following his psychological horror movie You Belong to Me, for which he was shortlisted for the Independent Spirit Award's Someone to Watch Award. SEASIDE stars Tony nominee Ariana DeBose in her feature film debut. An original cast member in Broadway's Hamilton, DeBose will be seen next as Anita in Steven Spielberg's highly anticipated remake of West Side Story. Also featured in the film are Broadway stars Matt Shingledecker (Rent, Les Misérables), Steffanie Leigh (Mary Poppins), and Sharon Washington (The Scottsboro Boys, Joker).

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team as comic playwright Ken Ludwig, who delighted Globe audiences with Robin Hood! and Baskerville, returns with a hilarious world premiere: Ken Ludwig's The Gods of Comedy, directed by Amanda Dehnert (West Side Story at Carnegie Hall, world premieres of Kate Hamill's Pride and Prejudice and Ludwig's Baskerville). Presented in association with McCarter Theatre Center, The Gods of Comedy will run May 11 - June 16, 2019 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage, Old Globe Theatre, Conrad Prebys Theatre Center, opening on May 16.
