The Pepperdine University Fine Arts Division's Theatre and Music Departments will present the beloved Luciana and Daniel Forge Fall Musical “The Music Man” in Smothers Theatre starting on Friday, Nov. 10.

A new adaptation following the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 is in development, led by producer Blair Russell. The dark musical comedy features music and lyrics by Jennifer Lucy Cook with a book by T.J. Pieffer and Shelby Solla.

The new musical For Tonight by Shenelle Salcido and Spencer Williams plays a one-night-only staged concert on September 5 at the Adelphi Theatre. Lead producer Blair Russell (Slave Play, Lizard Boy) discusses the often circuitous journey the show, and many shows like it, have faced to make it from an idea on the page to the West End stage.

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) has announced that applications are open for the fall term of the Producer Development & Mentorship Program.
