On Thursday, February 7 at noon, the Arvada Center opens the children's theater production No Dogs Allowed, written by Sonia Manzano ('Maria' from Sesame Street), music by Stephan Lawrence, lyrics by Billy Aronson and directed by Edith Weiss. The show will run February 7 - April 12, 2013. Performances are 10:00 a.m. and noon, most Tuesdays through Fridays, select Saturdays at 11:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. For specific show dates please check our website. Ticket prices range from $8 weekdays and $10 weekends and holidays for reserved seating. Extremities, written by William Mastrosimone is a very sensitive show about rape and torture dealing with a would-be rape victim who turns the tables on her attacker. The show, and it's actors deal with an entire gambit of moral and ethical questions. The play was written in 1982 and is still very relevant to this day.
