The CBS Television Network is scheduled to begin its 54th year broadcasting the NFL with two preseason games during the 2013 season.

CBS Sports and the soon to be renamed Big East Conference have agreed to a new long-term deal with rights through the 2019-20 season, it was announced today by Sean McManus, Chairman, CBS Sports and Commissioner, Mike Aresco.

CBS Sports culminates its coverage of the 2012-2013 NFL season with SUPER BOWL XLVII today, Feb. 3 (6:30 PM, ET kick-off) from the Mercedes-Benz Superdome in New Orleans, La., live on the CBS Television Network. Super Bowl XLVII will be the Network's 18th Super Bowl broadcast overall.

CBS Sports' coverage of Super Bowl XLVII continues with THE Super Bowl TODAY, the Network's pre-game studio show (2:00-6:00 PM, ET) with host James Brown along with analysts Dan Marino, Boomer Esiason, Shannon Sharpe and Bill Cowher, as well as Greg Gumbel, and NFL TODAY Insider Jason La Canfora, reporters Lesley Visser and Tracy Wolfson, Steve Tasker, Solomon Wilcots and contributing analyst Clay Matthews.

Green Bay Packers All-Pro linebacker and Super Bowl champion Clay Matthews joins CBS Sports as a contributing analyst on the CBS Television Network's Super Bowl pre-game show, THE SUPER BOWL TODAY, on Sunday, Feb. 3.
