Phase 4 Films has announced that AFTER THE DARK, formerly known as THE PHILOSOPHERS, will receive a national theatrical day-and-date release today, February 7, 2014. The film was penned and directed by John Huddles, and stars James D'Arcy, Bonnie Wright, Daryl Sabara, Sophie Lowe, Rhys Wakefield, Freddie Stroma, Maia Mitchell, Katie Findlay, Jacob Artist, and Erin Moriarty. George Zakk, Cybill Lui, and Huddles produced, with Eddy Sariaatmadja and Balaji Rao serving as executive producers.

Warner Bros. Pictures' and Village Roadshow Pictures' JUPITER ASCENDING, an original science fiction epic adventure from filmmakers Lana and Andy Wachowski, stars Channing Tatum and Mila Kunis. The film just released its first trailer, and you can check it out below!

Syfy announces additional casting for its upcoming Supernatural drama pilot, Dominion with the signings of Anthony Stewart Head, Roxanne McKee, Luke Allen-Gale and guest star Shivani Ghai. Produced by Universal Cable Productions, the pilot is set to begin shooting this month in Cape Town, South Africa.

TNT has greenlit Murder in the First, a new scripted drama from Emmy(R)-winner Steven Bochco and starring Taye Diggs (Private Practice) and Kathleen Robertson (Boss). Co-created by Bochco and Eric Lodal (The Locrian Mode), Murder in the First also stars Tom Felton (Harry Potter), Mimi Kirkland (Safe Haven), Raphael Sbarge (Once Upon a Time), Ian Anthony Dale (Hawaii Five-0), Bess Rous (What Just Happened) and Steven Weber (Dallas, Wings).

TNT has renewed three of its hit summer series, including the top-ranked Rizzoli & Isles and the Top 10 dramas Major Crimes and Perception. The renewals join the previously announced fourth-season order of TNT's epic drama Falling Skies, one of the summer's most popular dramas with key demos.
