Next month, in honor of Tartan Week in NYC, 54 BELOW presents SCOTS - an irreverent, hilarious 60-minute musical history of Scotland by the award-winning writing partnership Noisemaker (Scott Gilmour and Claire McKenzie).

Now celebrating its 11th anniversary, Goodspeed Musicals has announced the participants for the annual Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Grove at Goodspeed Musicals which will be held January 31 - February 27 on the Goodspeed campus in East Haddam, Connecticut.

Goodspeed Musicals has launched GoodWorks, its first formal commissioning program to support the creation and development of musicals that celebrate inspiring and transformational stories.

Now celebrating its 10th anniversary, the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Grove at Goodspeed Musicals will return to the Goodspeed campus January 31 - February 27, 2022 after being virtual in 2021.

The wait is over! Dundee Rep is back to spread Christmas cheer this holiday season with a thrilling reimagining of A Christmas Carol, directed by the Rep's Artistic Director Andrew Panton.

This year's Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Grove at Goodspeed Musicals is going virtual! In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 20 established and emerging composers, lyricists and librettists representing 11 new musicals will gather in a unique virtual space April 18 – May 1, 2021.

The Artist Channels provide a digital space for theatre fans to explore the incredible talent of the musical theatre songwriters who are creating today's new musicals.

The National Theatre of Scotland has today revealed the details of the Scenes for Survival launch night and the first a?oescenesa?? to be released as part of its crisis responsive artistic project:

Jings, Crivvens, Help Ma Boab! Scotland's cheekiest, spiky-haired scamp is back! Only question is; where's his bucket?! Join Wullie, Fat Boab, Soapy Soutar, Wee Eck, and the rest of the Sunday Post gang, in a brand new musical adventure celebrating their 80th anniversary as Scotland's most beloved comic strip.

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 40 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2020 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 15 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.
