Plays by Rogelio Martinez, Ty Defoe, Jessica Bashline and Craig Thornton highlight Syracuse Stage’s 2022/2023 Cold Read Festival of New Plays, Oct. 18 – 23.

Possum Point Players open a year of celebration with “Love Makes the World Go 'Round,” a gala that features music drawn from many musicals performed over the years since 1973. Starting at 6:00 pm, Saturday, Oct. 9, in Possum Hall, those attending will be treated to complimentary Champagne and desserts that reflect themes of some of Possums' favorite productions.

Plated Rose Musical Productions, LLC present a new musical written and composed by Christina Hemphill, a Player's Theatre Residency playwright and 2020 Rave Theatre Festival Finalist. A SYMPHONY FOR PORTLAND, with arrangements by Cameron Jones, is loosely based on an experience which happened to Ms. Hemphill.

Seattle Rep today announced complete casting of its world-premiere production of Bruce, the new musical is based on Carl Gottlieb’s The Jaws Log, a novel about the making of the iconic film. Bruce will perform on the Bagley Wright stage from May 27-June 26, 2022, and will celebrate its official opening night on June 8.

Equal parts scholarly gathering and participatory happening, 'Size Up: Changing Paradigms in Social Impact Design' aims to spark hybrid, flexible and engaging conversations through a series of workshops led by Detroit-based artists and activists.
