Highly-acclaimed Los Angeles theatre luminary and legendary artist-activist Michael Kearns will debut his new full-length play Bloodbound at Highways Performance Space, 1651 18th Street in Santa Monica, CA, opening January 19th, 2018. Performances will continue through March 4th, with Mark Bringelson directing. Producers are Leo Garcia and Patrick Kennelly for Highways Performance Space, Ryland Shelton for Moon Mile Run, and Kirk Frederick, Executive Producer.

Lauren Kennedy started her career at the North Carolina Theatre, having performed in many of their productions since she was 7 years old. She went on to appear on Broadway in Sunset Boulevard (original cast), Side Show (original cast), Les Miserables (Fantine), and Monty Python's Spamalot (The Lady of the Lake). Her other performing credits include Betty Schaefer in Sunset Boulevard (first national tour), Judy Haines in Irving Berlin's White Christmas (World Premiere), Cathy Hiatt in The Last Five Years (World Premiere), Nellie Forbush in South Pacific (London), Holly Golightly in Breakfast at Tiffany's (St. Louis MUNY), Nefertari in The Ten Commandments (Los Angeles), Agnes Ford in Lone Star Love (World Premiere), Mary in Vanities (Pasadena Playhouse/Second Stage Theater), Martha Jefferson in 1776 (Paper Mill Playhouse), and The Witch in Into the Woods (Westport Country Playhouse).

Soles4Souls Responds to Victims of Hurricane Harvey and Irma

Since Hurricane Harvey made landfall in late August, Soles4Souls a non-profit organization that creates sustainable jobs and provides relief through the distribution of shoes and clothing has been working with the footwear and apparel industries to procure much needed product to help the victims of both Harvey and Irma. The generosity from more than 150 companies has added up to close to 500,000 pieces of product including shoes, clothing, socks, underwear and diapers, valued at $7.5 million.

After weeks of campaigning for healthcare and other benefits, The Teamsters Local 817 has reportedly received threatening letters from the Broadway League.
