 CBS All Access today announced the second season renewal of its latest original series, THE TWILIGHT ZONE.

The NAACP today announced that globally dominant pop culture icon Shawn 'JAY-Z' Carter will receive the prestigious President's Award during the 50th NAACP Image Awards. The President's Award is presented in recognition of a special achievement and distinguished public service with previous recipients including Jesse Jackson, Lauryn Hill, Soledad O'Brien, Colin Powell, Condoleezza Rice, and Muhammad Ali among others. NAACP President Derrick Johnson will present the award to Shawn 'JAY-Z' Carter during a LIVE TV special on TV One on Saturday, March 30, 2019 from the Dolby Theatre in Los Angeles, hosted by Anthony Anderson.

Chris O'Dowd will be moving into a land of both shadow and substance in THE TWILIGHT ZONE. O'Dowd will star in the episode titled “The Blue Scorpion,” written by Glen Morgan, which will also feature Amy Landecker.

That's the signpost up ahead for Seth Rogen, as he will star in an upcoming episode of THE TWILIGHT ZONE written by Alex Rubens. THE TWILIGHT ZONE will debut with two episodes on Monday, April 1. Following the series premiere, new episodes of the anthology series will be available on demand weekly on Thursdays beginning April 11, exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers.

The HBO Films presentation NATIVE SON, based on the classic novel by Richard Wright, will debut SATURDAY, APRIL 6 at 10:00 p.m. (ET/PT) on HBO, it was announced today by Len Amato, president, HBO Films. Directed by first-time director and renowned visual artist Rashid Johnson from a screenplay by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Suzan-Lori Parks (“Topdog/Underdog”), the drama had its world premiere in January at the Sundance Film Festival.

CBS All Access today revealed the official trailer and key art for its highly anticipated new original series THE TWILIGHT ZONE, which will premiere with two episodes on Monday, April 1. Following the series premiere, all subsequent episodes will be released on Thursdays beginning April 11, exclusively for CBS All Access subscribers.

Regina King, Sanaa Lathan and Elaine Welteroth have been confirmed as presenters for the 12th annual ESSENCE Black Women in Hollywood Awards in Beverly Hills, CA on Thursday, February 21, 2019.  Adding to the 'Black Girl Magic' on stage will be a performance by award-winning singer and actress Amber Riley.  This year, ESSENCE celebrates the global influence of Hollywood's leading female artist-activists and will honor actress Amandla Stenberg (“The Hate U Give”), actress/singer and author Jenifer Lewis (“Black-ish”), actress KiKi Layne (“If Beale Street Could Talk”) and actress Regina Hall (“Shaft”). The event will be hosted by singer/actress Kelly Rowland.

SHOWTIME has been nominated for seven NAACP Image Awards, led by five for the network's hit drama, THE CHI – including Outstanding Drama Series. THE CHI received more nominations than any other cable drama and tied for most nominations among dramas overall. Series creator and executive producer Lena Waithe earned a solo NAACP Image Award nomination for Outstanding Writing in a Drama Series and shared in another with Dime Davis. SHOWTIME also received three acting nominations for Jason Mitchell and Alex R. Hibbert of THE CHI and Sanaa Lathan of THE AFFAIR. In addition, SHUT UP AND DRIBBLE, executive produced by LeBron James, was nominated for Outstanding Documentary (Television).

The winners will be revealed during the Two-Hour LIVE TV special airing on TV One on Saturday, March 30, 2019.

She joins the CBS All Access original series as the star of an upcoming episode titled “Point of Origin,” which will also feature James Frain and Zabryna Guevara. Previously announced cast for the series includes host and narrator Jordan Peele, as well as Ike Barinholtz, John Cho, Taissa Farmiga, Greg Kinnear, Luke Kirby, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Rhea Seehorn, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay, Jessica Williams, DeWanda Wise and Steven Yeun.

The Paley Center for Media today announced the initial group of talent who will be participating in PaleyFest LA 2019, which takes place March 15-24, at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood. PaleyFest LA gives fans access to special screenings, exclusive conversations, and behind-the-scenes scoops and breaking news from the stars and creative minds behind their favorite shows.

During the Super Bowl last night, CBS All Access premiered the first trailer for Jordan Peele's 'The Twilight Zone.'

CBS All Access subscribers can enter the fifth dimension beginning Monday, April 1 with the premiere of the service's latest original series, THE TWILIGHT ZONE. The series will debut with two episodes. DeWanda Wise and Jessica Williams have entered the fifth dimension. Wise and Williams are the latest to star in an upcoming episode of CBS All Access original series THE TWILIGHT ZONE. The episode will also feature Lucinda Dryzek, Jefferson White and Jonathan Whitesell. Previously announced cast includes host and narrator Jordan Peele, as well as John Cho, Greg Kinnear, Sanaa Lathan, Kumail Nanjiani, Adam Scott, Alison Tolman, Jacob Tremblay and Steven Yeun.

Greg Kinnear is set to appear in “The Traveler” episode of the CBS All Access' 'The Twilight Zone,' opposite previously announced Steven Yeun, according to Deadline.

Steven Yeun has been cast in the CBS All Access reboot of “The Twilight Zone,” according to Variety. Yeun will appear in an episode of the series titled “The Traveler.” He is best known for starring in “The Walking Dead” and “Burning.”
