Actress and activist Kathy Najimy is teaming up with America's Most Produced Playwright Lauren Gunderson for a benefit reading at the Minetta Lane Theater on Monday, April 23, 2018 at 7pm. Presented by the WP Theater with Erica Rotstein and Christina Wallace, the reading of Gunderson's new play NATURAL SHOCKS is in support of the Ms. Foundation's programs and grants that address domestic violence and gun violence against women. Tickets range from $100-1000, with discounted tickets available for students ($25) and a limited number of $50 early bird tickets available through April 16. On Monday night, January 20, 2014 BroadwayWorld.com kicked off its 10th Anniversary Celebration with the first in a series of concerts to be presented in the upcoming year. It was an historic night for so many reasons and although yesterday was spent in BroadwayWorld 'after-glow and recovery' we rushed out the behind the scenes photos, taken by two photographers who were with us since the beginning - Linda Lenzi and Walter McBride. Ron Bohmer, star of Broadway's A Little Night Music, Ragtime, The Phantom of the Opera, The Scarlet Pimpernel, The Woman in White and Les Miserables, has joined the lineup for The Pop Show Presents...Billy Joel! on Monday, July 29 at Birdland Jazz Club. Also joining the lineup is Christian Macchio, lead vocalist of the Long Island-based band Captain Jack.

PETA, which normally waits for spokespeople to turn 18 before asking them to star in a 'provocative' campaign, has enlisted 16-year old Samia Najimy Finnerty for its new 'Vegans Go All the Way' ad. Samia, PETA's youngest pinup, is the singing-songwriting daughter of actor Kathy Najimy and singer Dan Finnerty of The Dan Band. The playful posters aimed at teens will debut in conjunction with the performer's show tonight, July 9 at Joe's Pub, at 6pm. Check out what Samia had to say about the cause below!
