Her recording of "Never Neverland (Fly Away)" led to me purchase DREAMING WIDE AWAKE, and I have personally been a fan of Scott Alan's charismatic brand of pop songs infused with Broadway storytelling elements ever since. According to the Daily Mail, after holding workshops last fall with Samantha Barks as 'Jules' and Tara Divina as 'Jess', the new BEND IT LIKE BECKHAM musical is officially headed to the West End's Phoenix Theatre. Previews will begin May 15, with an opening slated for June 24, 2015. No word yet on who will star.

Cassie Compton (Wicked, Les Miserables), Katie Paine (We Will Rock You) and Ian Stroughair (Cats, Fame, Chicago, Rent) and more came together at the Royal Albert Hall's Elgar Room to sing the work of British composers, Daniel and Laura Curtis on October 14. The one night only intimate concert will take place tonight, October 14th and features an array of West End performers including Alexander Hanson (Stephen Ward, Jesus Christ Superstar), Sabrina Aloueche (Les Miserables, We Will Rock You), Nadim Naaman (Phantom Of The Opera, One Man, Two Guvnors), Rebecca Caine (Phantom Of The Opera), Mark Moraghan (Priscilla Queen of The Desert), Chloe Hart (Hairspray, Wicked) and many other special guests.

Full casting for City of Angels at Donmar Warehouse has been announced. Joining the previously announced Samantha Barks, Rosalie Craig and Hadley Fraser are Katherine Kelly, Tam Mutu, Peter Polycarpou and Rebecca Trehearn.
