A brand-new stage adaptation of The Best Exotic Marigold Hotel is set to be a major new theatre production. Written by Deborah Moggach, adapted from her bestselling novel which inspired the BAFTA and Golden Globe-nominated film, and directed by Lucy Bailey, the cherished story will be brought to life on stage when it opens at the Richmond Theatre on Tuesday, 30th August 2022.

Images have been released of Measure for Measure currently showing in the candlelit Sam Wanamaker Playhouse at Shakespeare’s Globe until the 15 January.

Tamasha Theatre Company announces the appointment of Pooja Ghai as its new Artistic Director. Pooja takes up the role with immediate effect. She succeeds Fin Kennedy, who departs Tamasha to start his own company and return to freelance writing.

Omnibus Theatre and Jump Spark Theatre today announce the first full-scale staging of The Girl Who Was Very Good at Lying, following an award-nominated short run as part of Jermyn Street Theatre's Footprints Festival.

The season will feature Shakespeare's Measure for Measure directed by Blanche McIntyre, Hamlet directed by Sean Holmes, The Merchant of Venice directed by Abigail Graham, and a festive reimagining of Hans Christian Andersen's The Fir Tree written by Hannah Khalil. Running for three exclusive performances at Above the Stag as part of the NOT THE EDINBURGH FRINGE FESTIVAL, images of the opening night on Thursday 20th August have been released.

In Leopards, by rising playwright Alys Metcalf, Niala will be played by Saffron Coomber. Niamh Cusack will be reuniting with director Melly Still in the world premiere of Colin Teevan’s The Seven Pomegranate Seeds.

Despite being severely edited, the play features a marvelous cast in what is perhaps the Bard's most beloved work.
