North Star Theater Company is presenting DEATHTRAP a comedy-thriller by Ira Levin. Go inside rehearsal in new photos!

North Star Theater Company presents a timeless story of friendship, love and loss with Ivan Menchell's play, “The Cemetery Club.”

The series has featured Heléne York, Gideon Glick, Andrew Keenan-Bolger, Noah Galvin, and more. In this new season, Brooke and Cary must now contend with a new famous family member: their 53-year-old mother Pat (Molly Shannon), and her eponymous daytime talk show.

THE OTHER TWO is created, written and executive produced by former SNL co-head writers Chris Kelly and Sarah Schneider and stars Drew Tarver (“Bajillion Dollar Propertie$”), Heléne Yorke (“HBO’s High Maintenance,” “Masters of Sex”), Case Walker, Ken Marino (“Party Down”) and Molly Shannon (HBO’s “The White Lotus,” “Divorce”).

The ten-episode Max Original series continues with two new episodes weekly on September 2, September 9, and September 16, leading up to the final two episodes of the season on September 23.

NBC Sports Digital and Above Average's sports brand The Kicker, owned by Broadway Video, today announced the short-form original digital video series Draftsville will return for a second season ahead of NFL Kickoff 2018. The Upright Citizens Brigade Theater in Hell's Kitchen has extended dates through August for 'Branded Content Will Set You Free,' and 'The Scumbags of '77,' which were written and co-written by infamous UCB luminary Alex Estrada. UCB bigwig John Sartori shares a writing credit for 'Scumbags.'

Film-News.co.uk reports that shooting is currently underway for La Muse Venale Theater's MERSEY BOYS, a full-length film about legendary rock band The Beatles. The film, which stars Jordan Brown (John), Jeremiah Stanfield (Paul), Brady Cudmore (George) and Trevor Crane (Ringo) will be shot entirely in New York City

Lauren Ferebee is the featured playwright for On the Square Productions third reading in their Write Angle Series for their 2011-2012 season. The reading of Somewhere Safer will take place on Monday, February 27th at 8pm at The Bridge Theatre at Shetler Studios (244 W 54th St., 12th Floor) This event will serve as a fundraiser/benefit for the not for profit theatre company. Somewhere Safer marks the first piece to go through the company's Square One Writing Series dedicated to providing artists a place to create and develop new work.
