On Wednesday May 25th, the first person to ever put the words “female orgasm” in print will finally get her day in the sun. That person is Ida C. Craddock, a real-life 19th century sexologist who, in addition to her groundbreaking sex education work, was an avowed Spiritualist who claimed to be married to an angel. BORDERLAND is a pop opera that merges the harmonic tension of contemporary classical music, the delicious ring of musical theater voices and an other-worldly blend of electronics and texture.
