This spring, SHOWTIME will bid farewell to one of its signature series with the premiere of NURSE JACKIE's final season tonight, April 12th at 9 P.M. ET/PT, followed by the highly-anticipated second season of the hit drama series PENNY DREADFUL on Sunday, April 26th at 10 P.M. ET/PT.

Acclaimed film, television and stage actor Mark Feuerstein (Royal Pains) is signing on as a recurring guest star in six episodes of NURSE JACKIE, the original Showtime comedy series starring Edie Falco as a flawed emergency room nurse. Feuerstein will play Barry Wolfe, a high-powered, cutthroat lawyer who will represent Jackie as she pieces her life back together following her arrest last season. He joins recently announced recurring guest star Tony Shalhoub in the series' seventh and final season, which is currently in production in New York.

Deadline reports that Nurse Jackie's Ruby Jerins been cast in LOUDER THAN BOMBS under the direction of Norwegian Joachim Trier. She joins Gabriel Byrne, Jesse Eisenberg, and Devin Makenzie Druid in this film about a father and his two sons three years after their wife and mother had died.

Deadline writes that Brian d'Arcy James has joined the cast of Open Road's SPOTLIGHT, directed by Tom McCarthy. James will star alongside Mark Ruffalo, Michael Keaton, Aaron Eckhart, Liev Schreiber, Rachel McAdams and Stanley Tucci in the film, which centers on the Boston Globe's real-life investigation into pedophile priests in the Catholic Church.

After six award-winning and critically-acclaimed seasons, NURSE JACKIE, the Showtime hit comedy starring the extraordinary Edie Falco, will begin production this week on its seventh and final season, it was announced today by David Nevins, President, Showtime Networks Inc.

Emmy Award-winner Tony Shalhoub (Monk) joins Emmy-winning actress Edie Falco in NURSE JACKIE, the SHOWTIME comedy about a flawed emergency room nurse. Shalhoub stars in a recurring role as Dr. Bernard Prince, a new ER doctor who has a great bedside manner, a special touch with his boss, Gloria Akalitus (Anna Deavere Smith), and who offers Jackie something she desperately needs - a friend.

SHOWTIME will be available to 74 million households during a Free Preview Weekend this Friday, May 9 through Sunday, May 11. Viewers nationwide will be able to sample the network's award-winning programming on SHOWTIME, SHOWTIME On Demand(R), SHOWTIME ANYTIME(R) and on a number of participating distributors' TV Everywhere portals. Showtime has announced that Broadway vet Laura Benanti will appear in a recurring role in the hit medical drama comedy NURSE JACKIE.

Award-winning actors Aida Turturro and Joel Grey will each guest star on one episode of the upcoming season of NURSE JACKIE. This will mark a reunion for series star Edie Falco and Turturro as both starred together on the long-running hit drama series The Sopranos. Production on season four of NURSE JACKIE is currently underway in New York for a 2012 premiere. The two stars join the recently announced Rosie Perez and Bobby Cannavale as season four guest stars.
