The one-man tour-de-force premieres at the Spencer Theater on Friday, September 25 and Saturday, September 26 at 8 p.m., a definite laugh-riot that kicks-off the Spencer?s 13th winter season of shows.

Two national icons come together as America's Choir meets Broadway's leading man in the Mormon Tabernacle Choir's new release, Ring Christmas Bells (Mormon Tabernacle Choir®, $18.98). In this 16-track album, the talents of Tony Award winner Brian Stokes Mitchell -one of Broadway's brightest stars -combine with the Mormon Tabernacle Choir and Orchestra at Temple Square, along with a huge bell choir of more than 100 members. The CD is comprised of live recordings from the choir's 2008 Christmas concert from Temple Square, a musical spectacle that was seen in person by more than 80,000 last year.

The man who spent 30 years welcoming television viewers with the iconic greeting, 'H-e-e-e-e-e-ere's Johnny!' famous has died. Ed McMahon was 86. McMahon passed away shortly after midnight at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. His wife Pam and other family members were by his side.

Readings take place on three consecutive Mondays, June 8, 15 and 22, beginning at 6pm. The Los Angeles Times has reported that Nina Foch, a veteran actress from Hollywood's film noir era of the 1940s who became a widely respected acting coach and teacher of directors, died Friday at the Ronald Reagan UCLA Medical Center. She was 84. The cause was complications of long-term myelodysplasia, a blood disorder, according to her son, Dr. Dirk De Brito.
