From the sun baked Oklahoma Territory at the turn of the 20th century comes the Broadway classic, Oklahoma!, beginning April 11 with a press opening on Wednesday, April 18 at 7:30 p.m. at 10 Marriott Drive, Lincolnshire. Due to high demand, an additional week is now on sale through June 10. Featuring a powerful score by legendary duo Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II, and based on Lynn Riggs' 1931 play, Green Grow the Lilacs, Oklahoma! will be directed by Artistic Director and Jeff Award-winner Aaron Thielen (She Loves Me, Spring Awakening). Jeff Award nominee Alex Sanchez (Marriott Theatre: Newsies, Evita, On the Town, Mary Poppins) will choreograph, with Musical Direction and orchestrations by Jeff Award winner Ryan T. Nelson.

LINDSAY MENDEZ & RYAN SCOTT OLIVER'S ACTOR THERAPY presents their Fall 2017 Cabaret Series at Don't Tell Mama, beginning on October 19th, 2017 at 9:30pm with REINTRODUCING ALINA FONTANILLA.

Following its successful participation in the 2016 PBS Arts Fall Festival, Myron's Cabaret Jazz at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts will present two concerts by acclaimed group Postmodern Jukebox on August 14, with both shows filmed and available for PBS stations across the country to schedule for broadcast in December 2017. With performances at 6 p.m. and 8:30 p.m., the show will feature highly talented artists.

Following highly skilled performances by competitors on May 21, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts announced the winners of its fifth annual Nevada High School Musical Theater Awards as Adelynn Tourondel from Green Valley High School and Nathan Sink from Centennial High School.

As part of its ongoing efforts to foster love of the arts among Nevada's youth, The Smith Center for the Performing Arts will host the fifth annual Nevada High School Musical Theater Awards at 2 p.m. on May 21 in Reynolds Hall to recognize the state's top musical theater students.

With all finalists treated to an evening of entertainment and celebration, The Smith Center for the Performing Artshonored 20 Clark County School District (CCSD) educators as the winners of the 2017 Heart of Education Awards, hosted at the Smith Center's Reynolds Hall on Saturday, April 29.

Following a successful inaugural event in 2016, the finalists for the 2017 Heart of Education Awards will be honored at a red-carpet ceremony at 7 p.m. on Saturday, April 29 at The Smith Center for the Performing Arts. This second-annual awards event, powered by The Rogers Foundation, celebrates Clark County School District (CCSD) teachers who go above and beyond for their students.

The production begins performances tonight 30 August at Sydney Opera House, followed by a gala opening night on 6 September.
