After rave reviews for three Fort Worth concerts last month, Tony Award winner and Broadway legend, Betty Buckley, is bringing her new show "Ah Men! The Boys of Broadway" back to Fort Worth in May for two encore performances. The shows are tonight, May 15 and tomorrow, May 16 at The Modern Art Museum of Fort Worth.

Atlantis Productions (In the Heights, Disney's The Little Mermaid) has just released the poster for its upcoming production of Yasmina Reza's Tony Award-winning play God of Carnage, starring Lea Salonga (Les Miserables, Miss Saigon), Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo (Next to Normal, Love, Loss, And What I Wore), Adrian Pang (The Full Monty, They're Playing Our Song), and Art Acuña (The Romance of Magno Rubio, Kitchen Musical). To be directed by Bobby Garcia (In the Heights, Disney's The Little Mermaid), God of Carnage will premiere in Manila in July, and in Singapore in November through a partnership with Singapore Repertory Theatre. Diane Kruger and Alexander Payne will be among the Jury of the Competition at the 65th Cannes Film Festival. The jury will have to decide between the 22 films in Competition in order to select the winners, to be announced on stage during the Closing Ceremony on May 27th, culminating in the announcement of the Palme d'or.

GOD OF CARNAGE is a well written comedy that evokes constant laughter. It gets a top-notch production at Dobama. If you want an evening of totally delightful entertainment, to experience rationality being replaced by riot, this is a must go-see!

Now, the Tony Award-winning Theatre is home to the Washington premiere of another comedy from the incisive mind of Yasmina Reza, as God of Carnage begins performances on April 10th, and runs through June 24th. Tennessee Repertory Theatre will present the Tennessee premiere of God of Carnage, winner of the 2009 Tony Award for Best Play. Written by Yasmina Reza and translated by Christopher Hampton, this scathing comedy is a recent major motion picture release (Carnage, directed by Roman Polanski and starring Jodie Foster and Kate Winslet). God of Carnage runs February 4 - 18 at TPAC's Johnson Theater (with preview performances February 2 - 3).
