They will join members of the Unexpected Productions' ensemble and together they will create a hilarious, completely improvised musical improv show! The Who Announce Additional 'Moving On!' U.S. Tour Dates

Legendary rock band The Who have announced they'll be moving on in 2020 with more tour dates, not quite ready to close the books on their acclaimed MOVING ON! TOUR, which paired Singer Roger Daltrey and guitarist/songwriter Pete Townshend with local symphony orchestras across North America and was hailed bycritics as a once-in-a-lifetime rock experience. Along with a series of rescheduled shows announced earlier in the month (see complete list of dates below) the band has expanded their 2020 itinerary to include a show on April 21 in Hollywood, FL (Hard Rock Live), April 23 in Cincinnati, OH (BB&T Arena at Northern Kentucky University), and a series of six shows at The Colosseum at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas, NV kicking off on May 5 and running to May 16 (see dates below). Tickets will be available at Ticketmaster.

It was announced today that producers Hal Luftig and Patrick Catullo will bring a new production of the classic rock opera The Who's Tommy back to Broadway in the 2021 season, directed by two-time Tony Award-winner Des McAnuff, who also directed the original Broadway production.

BWW Review: THE WHO: MOVING ON!, Wembley Stadium

Remarkably, it's been 40 years since legendary rock band The Who performed at Wembley Stadium, back then sharing the stage with the likes of The Stranglers and ACDC. This weekend's return - featuring a line-up of four support acts - felt like something of a homecoming festival for the band, made all the more grandiose an occasion with the addition of an orchestra for the headliners' set. With the very recent loss of Pete Townshend's guitar technician Alan Rogan, it was also a chance to honour his long-term involvement with the band and to celebrate life.

Legendary rock band The Who have added a return Madison Square Garden show in New York City on September 1st to kick off the fall leg of their much heralded 2019 North American MOVING ON! TOUR. They recently wrapped up the first leg of the celebrated run with each performance supported by a 48-piece local symphony orchestra. Pioneer Productions will present The Who's Tommy- The Original Rock Opera July 5-7 and 12-14 at The George Fry Center for the Arts at the Fair Lawn Community Center. The production is directed by Douglas McLaughlin with Choreography by Jon Mantes and musical direction by Bruce De La Cruz. Originally a concept album then a movie then a Broadway show Tommy's story of an insensate boy's journey from isolation & abuse to heroic connection and triumph has endured for half a century.

Symphony Conductor Keith Levenson leads THE WHO's Symphonic Moving On Tour

THE WHO are gearing up for a 29-date North American 'Moving On' Symphonic Tour where a local symphony orchestra will join the band nightly for songs from 'Tommy' and 'Quadrophenia'along with their greatest hits and some long awaited new tunes. Roger Daltrey got the idea of a symphonic tour after spending the summer of 2018 performing 'Tommy' with symphonies and“loving the experience”. That tour was conducted by renowned composer and conductor, KEITH LEVENSON, where he led symphonies including The Boston Pops, The Chicago Symphony and The Cleveland Orchestra.
