Broadway In Chicago has announced Evan Rachel Wood (Thirteen, The Wrestler, Across the Universe) will join the cast of “FOR THE RECORD: DEAR JOHN HUGHES,” an immersive, concert event showcasing the works of beloved Chicago native John Hughes, at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut) the second week of performances March 12 – 15, 2015. Evan Rachel Wood will replace Rumer Willis who will play “Basket Case” in the first week of performances March 5 – 8, 2015. Willis will be returning to Los Angeles to prepare for her upcoming, just announced debut on Season 20 of ABC's “Dancing With The Stars.' (more...)

NEW YORK, NY—February 17, 2015—Scholastic, the global children's publishing, education and media company, has acquired North American rights to 19-year-old Aija Mayrock's self-published ebook, The Survival Guide to Bullying. The revised Scholastic edition (The Survival Guide to Bullying: Revised Edition) will be published simultaneously in paperback and ebook formats in July 2015, with a hardcover library edition to follow in September 2015. The deal was negotiated by Debra Dorfman, VP and Publisher, Scholastic, and Jay Kramer for Aija Mayrock. (more...)
