Stephen Petronio Company has announced a series of online programming created and organized in the wake of the global pandemic. Running May 13–June 14, 2020, the online season includes the premiere of two new works, archival streams, and conversations. All events are free.

Today Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival, the esteemed annual presentation of lens-based art, today announced its curated program of Public Installations for the 24th edition of the city-wide event. Throughout the month of May 2020, a number of this year's Public Installations will address the artists' roles in building awareness, stimulating dialogue, and fostering engagement concerning a range of environmental issues. Other installations feature artists exploring the interconnectedness and implications of body, identity, site, and history.

The Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary Art Fair, presented by Art Miami and sponsored by the City of West Palm Beach returns for its fourth edition in West Palm Beach City's Tent Site (825 S Dixie Hwy & Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach) on Thursday, January 9th with a VIP Preview, before opening to the general public on Friday, January 10th through January 12th.

The Rubell Museum today announced that its new campus will open on December 4, 2019 with a museum-wide installation of works that chronicle key artists, moments, and movements in vital arts centers over the past 50 years, from the East Village to Beijing, Los Angeles to Leipzig, and São Paulo to Tokyo

It was announced today that LAAS Group has retained control of Art New York. For the fair's sixth edition in May 2020 and beyond, LAAS will operate the fair as Art New York, under the leadership of the fair's previous majority shareholders, Michael Tansey and Brian Tyler.

Jones/Arnie Zane Company, one of the most innovative and powerful forces in the dance-theater world, in their State Theatre debut on Thursday, April 11, 2019 at 8pm. After the performance, there will be a post-show talkback with Associate Artistic Director Janet Wong, Composer Nick Hallett, and the performers of the Bill T. Jones/Arnie Zane Company. Tickets range from $19-$49.

Today, the Scotiabank CONTACT Photography Festival announced their public installation program for the 23rd edition of the city-wide event spanning the month of May 2019. Renowned American artist Carrie Mae Weems will create three separate site-specific installations at outdoor venues downtown, representing the first time she has shown her work at this scale in Canada. These installations are presented in conjunction with exhibitions at the CONTACT Gallery and the Art Museum at the University of Toronto.

New York Live Arts 2019 Live Ideas Gala, co-chaired by Matthew Putman, Slobodan Randjelovi and Jon Stryker, and hosted by award-winning director and photographer and noted social activist Indrani Pal-Chaudhuri, pays tribute to Live Arts' annual Live Ideas Festival. In 2015, Stephen Petronio Company culminated its 30th anniversary 2014-15 season with a transformation: the launch of Bloodlines. This autobiographical project not only honors the lineage of American postmodern dance, but also traces the influences and impulses that have shaped choreographer Stephen Petronio, an artist uniquely positioned to preserve this postmodern tradition.
