Bridgegate Pictures (OTC PINK: BBGP), in association with Minds Eye Entertainment and VMI Worldwide, proudly announce that Nicolas Cage (Snowden, Dog Eat Dog) will star in the action/sci-fi film, THE HUMANITY BUREAU.

As previously announced, the 2016/17 UK Tour of Simon Beaufoy's THE FULL MONTY is led by Gary Lucy as Gaz, with Andrew Dunn as Gerald, Louis Emerick as Horse, Chris Fountain as Guy and Kai Owen as Dave.  Anthony Lewis is now playing the role of Lomper, as Joe Absolom had to withdraw due to contractual filming commitments.

Based on his smash-hit film and adapted for the stage by Oscar-winning writer Simon Beaufoy, Birmingham Hippodrome has announced full casting for the 2016/17 UK Theatre award-winning production of The Full Monty, running from Mon 14 - Sat 19 Nov.

From producer Lorne Michaels (“Saturday Night Live”) comes the outrageous new comedy about family, friendship and fish.

Amanda Holden, Angela Griffin, Tracy-Ann Oberman, Tamzin Outhwaite and Nicola Stephenson will be Stepping Out in the West End when Richard Harris's award-winning comedy opens at London's Vaudeville Theatre with preview performances from 1 March 2017 and opening night for press on 14 March 2017.

Company Music Director Nicola Luisotti leads a stellar cast, including three international stars making their San Francisco Opera debuts in the demanding lead roles: South Korean tenor Yonghoon Lee in the title role, Italian soprano Anna Pirozzi as Maddalena di Coigny and Georgian baritone George Gagnidze as Carlo Gérard. The opening night festivities are distinguished by San Francisco Opera Guild's glamorous Opera Ball 2016: La Révolution et L'Amour and BRAVO! Club's Annual Opening Night Gala. The opening of the Company's 94th season also marks the beginning of Matthew Shilvock's inaugural season as General Director. Shilvock is the seventh General Director in the Company's history.

?The Orpheum Theatre is delighted to announce that the North American tour of the new stage adaptation of THE WIZARD OF OZ will play June 14-19 at The Orpheum Theatre in Memphis. XLrator Media and Benattar/Thomas Productions announced the start of principal photography on the action-thriller THE BASE, starring Cam Gigandet (The Magnificent Seven, Twilight) and directed by Jesse Gustafson (Day 39). XLrator Media will release the film worldwide in 2017 on its “TURBO” action label.

Overall, there's a lot of mass appeal in this production, some fun musical moments, and opportunities for the entire family to visit the familiar and well-loved. Unfortunately, it simply pales in comparison to what we have seen before.

The 2016/17 UK Tour of Simon Beaufoy's THE FULL MONTY, which won the UK Theatre Award for Best Touring Production, will begin in Bournemouth on 21 September 2016, finishing at the Sheffield Lyceum on 15 April 2017.

Escaping to Oz may be the fate for Dorothy, but her glorious adventure had patrons at Shea's Buffalo Theatre delighted to follow her down that infamous  yellow brick road. The lavish new production of THE WIZARD OF OZ opened last night and had the audience enraptured with the familiar story. The classic MGM musical has been lovingly adapted to the stage by Andrew Lloyd Weber and Jeremy Sams, with some new songs by Weber and Tim Rice, who previously collaborated on Jesus Christ Superstar.
