New York, NY (April 25, 2016) - C24 Gallery is pleased to announce Hero and Leander, a solo exhibition featuring a new body of work by hyperrealist sculptor Carole A. Feuerman. The exhibition will be on view May 7, 2016 through June 25, 2016 with a Press Preview on Friday, May 6th from 1:00 pm - 3:00 pm, a VIP Preview from 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm and a public reception from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm featuring dance performances. Additionally, Carole Feuerman will have her first solo show in Los Angeles at KM Fine Arts from July 14 - August 20, 2016.

Vocalist Kathy Kosins is an ASCAP award winning songwriter and record producer who has won the hearts of critics and fans around the globe with her eclectic musical palette that expands the rich history of jazz. In a multimedia concert salute The Ladies of Cool Kathy brings to life the extraordinary artistry of the great singers of 40s and 50s 'cool,' Anita O'Day, June Christy, Chris Connor and Julie London to the Harris Center for the Arts audiences. This concert includes presentation of vintage and rarely seen photographs and historical facts about each of these ladies, plus stories of the songs themselves, with photographs of the songwriters who created them.
Theatre Aspen Completes Capital Campaign

Theatre Aspen today announced the completion of their two-year, $2MM capital campaign, which supported the building of the new Hurst Theatre and lobby, and significant upgrades to the grounds. This work was undertaken in partnership with the Aspen City Parks Department, as part of a larger renovation to the John Denver Sanctuary in the Rio Grande Park, within which the theatre resides.

Following explorations of such jazz masters as Coltrane, Hancock, Monk and Tyner, the adventurous SFJAZZ Collective now sets its sights on the music of the one-and-only Stevie Wonder for its visit to Segerstrom Center's Jazz Series March 23 and 24 in Samueli Theater. The SFJAZZ Collective will perform timeless hits by Wonder including "Superstition," "Sir Duke," "My Cherie Amour," "Visions," "Blame it on the Sun" and "Do I Do" as well as all-new original compositions by Collective members. The ensemble's roster includes tenor saxophonist Mark Turner, vibraphonist Stefon Harris, trumpeter Avishai Cohen, trombonist Robin Eubanks, pianist Edward Simon, bassist Matt Penman and drummer Eric Harland. Alto saxophonist Antonio Hart will substitute for original Collective member Miguel Zenon who is on paternity leave. A free Preview Talk with Bubba Jackson, host of Jazz at Six on KKJZ-FM, will take place before the first performance on March 23 at 6:30 p.m. in Samueli Theater.
