Below, BroadwayWorld is catching up with one of the creators, Daniel Mertzlufft- the musical arranger behind not only Ratatouille, but other 2020 viral sensations like The Thanksgiving Musical and The Grocery Store Musical.

With much anticipation, THE SPOTLIGHT SERIES, a bi-monthly live streamed concert series created by A LITTLE NEW MUSIC will return to “spotlight” the music of multi-talented composer/lyricist David Mallamud on January 19th.  The evening will be co-hosted by ALNM co-producers Luke H. Klipp and Kila Packett. 

New York Theatre Barn will host a free live stream of its New Works Series on Wednesday, January 20th, 2021 at 7PM EDT, featuring excerpts from the new musicals Love In Hate Nation and Experience Marianas. The live 1-hour presentation will also feature a conversation with the writers and creative team. 

Ringing in the new year, THE SPOTLIGHT SERIES, a bi-monthly live streamed concert series created by A LITTLE NEW MUSIC will “spotlight” the music of composer/lyricist, Khiyon Hursey on January 5th. 

New York Theatre Barn will continue to host bi-monthly free live streams of its New Works Series on select Wednesday evenings at 7PM. Available on New York Theatre Barn’s YouTube channel and Broadway on Demand, each installment of the live 1-hour series includes excerpts from two new musicals and a conversation with the writers and creative team.

Songwriters Pasek & Paul will perform the headlining concert for the 2021 Junior Theater Festival Online Extravaganza!. The Junior Theater Festival Online Extravaganza! takes place January 15-17, 2021. Individual registration is open through January 4.
