Shakespeare in the Park is back and we've got photos from them official re-opening night! On Friday night, MERRY WIVES celebrated its opening at the Delacorte Theater, where it will run through Saturday, September 18. The play is adapted by Jocelyn Bioh and directed by Saheem Ali.

The show, directed by Tony Award winner and Bares creator Jerry Mitchell and co-directed by Laya Barak and Nick Kenkel, featured 14 original numbers that opened the doors for 170 dancers to uncover fantasies and discover confidence in the wake of being stuck at home for so long.

In Broadway Bares: Twerk from Home, Peppermint joins the cast to perform “Strip,” a new song by Frank Boccia, and Armstrong reveals more than his home exercise regime in a sweaty opening number. The Old Globe today announced that it is moving the productions in its 2020 Summer Season to the summer of 2021, although exact dates have not been settled upon.
