Ring of Fire: The Music of Johnny Cash returns to the Adventure Theater from March 27 through June 9, 2015. "The show was a huge hit for us in 2013," said director Bryce McDonald, "and since it closed we've had many people ask us to bring it back." Producing Director Jim Crabtree concurred, adding, "It's a wonderful production, full of heart, joy and great music. And we're fortunate to again have Kellye Cash in the show. As Johnny's niece, her perspective and her recollections of him make our production truly special." (more...)

Germantown Community Theatre has announced the slate of productions for their 2015-2016 season. The season blends music, theatre for youth, classic literature and raucous fun. Titles include Neil Simon's RUMORS, the movie-turned-musical DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS and Tennessee Williams' A STREETCAR NAMED DESIRE. Memberships for the season range from $60 to $200 and are on sale through the GCT box office at (901) 937.3023. The 2015-2016 season of Germantown Community Theatre is sponsored by the City of Germantown, Tennessee Arts Commission, ArtsMemphis, the GCT Trust and the Germantown Arts Alliance. (more...)

Singing duets and solo numbers, the lovely ladies who played Violet and Daisy Hilton in this season's Broadway revival of Side Show at the St. James Theatre skillfully entertained the dinner time crowd and left us looking forward to the next time they tread the boards on the Great White Way.
