FREUD'S LAST SESSION, New York's hit play by Mark St. Germain, is celebrating Sigmund Freud's 156th birthday today, May 6th at New World Stages. Producers Carolyn Rossi Copeland, Robert Stillman and Jack Thomas are requesting that audience members not bring any gifts for Dr. Freud however. His Study is already overstuffed with collectibles from around the world.

From stolen pearls to a glove left at the scene of the crime, from an excess of red lipstick to the postmodern gangster silhouette, fashion and style are commonly utilized in film to glamorize and glorify criminal behavior. These images and more will be the focus of the third New York edition of the London-based Fashion in Film Festival to take place at Museum of the Moving Image from today, May 4 through May 13, 2012. Titled If Looks Could Kill, the Festival explores the compelling links between cinema, television, fashion, crime, and violence.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION, New York's smash hit play by Mark St. Germain, will host a special post-performance discussion tomorrow, May 4th led by the playwright and the show's stars, Mark H. Dold (C. S. Lewis) and Martin Rayner (Sigmund Freud). They will also conduct a Q & A session with the audience.

The original cast of Off-Broadway's FREUD'S LAST SESSION, is returning to the New York production on Wednesday, May 2nd at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street). Original cast members Mark H. Dold and Martin Rayner, as C. S. Lewis and Sigmund Freud respectively, will be ending their run in the Chicago production of Mark St. Germain's hit play on April 29th.

FREUD'S LAST SESSION by Mark St. Germain, now in its second successful year in New York, and currently running at the Mercury Theater (3745 N. Southport, Chicago) will host a birthday celebration in honor of the anniversary of Sigmund Freud's 156th birthday on Sunday, May 6. Following both performances that day, audiences will have the opportunity to meet and greet with the cast members and snack on cupcakes. One lucky audience member will be selected to receive a "Freudian Slip" by Cosabella, courtesy of Chicago's G Boutique.

Southport in Chicago. Legendary film director Peter Bogdanovich attended FREUD'S LAST SESSION at New World Stages this past Saturday, April 7th to see George Morfogen and Jim Stanek, who recently joined the production as Sigmund Freud and C. S. Lewis respectively. FREUD'S LAST SESSION is the winner of the 2011 Off-Broadway Alliance Award for Best Play and additional productions are already set to open into 2013 in major markets across the nation and around the world. Sunday, June 10th, The Actors Fund will honor TONY® Award winner Jason Alexander at their 16th Annual Tony Awards® Party with the Julie Harris Award for Lifetime Achievement. The gala, which will be held at Skirball Center (2701 North Sepulveda Blvd, LA, 90049), features the only approved live feed of the Tony Awards as they happen in New York.
