Contra Costa Civic Theatre will return to live, in-person Main Stage productions this fall with one of the giants of the American theatre, Thornton Wilder’s Our Town. Directed by CCCT’s Executive Artistic Director Marilyn Langbehn, and featuring a diverse ensemble of eight actors who portray the 25-plus citizens of Grover’s Corners, Our Town will play for 15 performances from October 1-31.

As the combination comes to an end, finishing with a grand jeté into a graceful arabesque par terre, 18 year old Nick Nazzaro remains in disbelief that he is spending his days dancing in the city of his dreams.

The new Broadway production of Paramour marks dancer Reed Kelly's fourth Broadway show. No stranger to the Lyric Theatre, he last flew around that stage in Spider-Man: Turn Off The Dark. He also took flight as a monkey in Broadway's Wicked and danced in The Addams Family. In addition to performing, Reed continues to interact with a legion of reality show fans from his stint on CBS's Survivor: San Juan Del Sur in 2014.

Cirque du Soleil's first Broadway musical tells a tale of romance and dreams of movie stardom.

Cirque du Soleil and RED, a Sony distribution company, announced today that the Broadway cast album of PARAMOUR will be recorded on June 29 and 30 to be released later this summer. The album will contain songs and selections from the show, including material by Bob & Bill and Andreas Carlsson.

Cirque du Soleil - PARAMOUR is the organization's first production created specifically for Broadway. PARAMOUR just opened last week at the Lyric Theatre and BroadwayWorld was on hand for the special night. Check out photos from the post-show festivities below!

Cirque du Soleil Theatrical's first musical, PARAMOUR, begins previews tonight, April 16, marking the Broadway debuts of 32 cast members and 18 creative team members.
