Five-time Oscar nominated cinematographer Caleb Deschanel (whose nominations were for The Right Stuff, The Natural, Fly Away Home, The Patriot, and The Passion of the Christ) will direct Gary Moore's autobiographical multi-media one man play BURNING IN CHINA this August at FringeNYC, with performances from August 17th - August 28th at the New York Theatre Workshop's 4th Street Theatre.

Icon Entertainment International has begun to sell international distribution rights for Ralph Fiennes' 'Coriolanus,' according to a report by Deadline.com. First buyers include Spain and the BBC for UK television. The BBC is a co-producer of the picture, which stars Tony Award-winner Vanessa Redgrave along with Fiennes as Coriolanus, Gerard Butler as Afidius, and Emmy Award-winner Brian Cox as Menenius.

Previewing from June 10 with press night on June 16 and booking until July 31, Jenny Worton's new adaptation of Through A Glass Darkly has designs by Tom Scutt, lighting by Colin Grenfell and sound and music by Dan Jones.

'Agora' will be presented May 24 at 7 pm at the Wadsworth Theatre. Other titles previously announced include 'Letters to Juliet' on May 10 and 'Holy Rollers' on May 17.

Katie Holmes to Play Jackie Kennedy in New History Channel Miniseries

According to published reports, former All My Sons star Katie Holmes will play Jacqueline Kennedy in a new television miniseries, 'The Kennedys' for the History Channel. The eight-hour miniseries - the first for the History Channel - will also star Greg Kinnear as John F. Kennedy. The series is written by Steve Kronish and directed by Jon Cassar, who collaborated on '24.' An air time is set for 2011.

Broadway Across America (John Gore, Thomas B. McGrath, Beth Williams), Craig Zadan, Neil Meron, Candy Spelling and The Weinstein Company will present the first-ever Broadway revival of PROMISES, PROMISES this spring at the Broadway Theater (1681 Broadway). Previews will begin on Sunday, March 28th, 2010 with an opening night slated for Sunday, April 25th, 2010. The musical is written by legends Neil Simon (book), Burt Bacharach (music), and Hal David (lyrics). Emmy Award winner Sean Hayes will make his Broadway debut starring in the role of Chuck Baxter opposite Tony and Emmy Award winner Kristin Chenoweth, returning to Broadway as Fran Kubelik. Tony and Emmy Award winner Rob Ashford will also make his Broadway directorial debut and choreograph. More casting and creative team members will be announced in the near future.
