Concord Theatricals and Irving Berlin's Estate Announce Extension of Long-Term Relationship

Concord Theatricals has announced that it is extending its representation as the exclusive worldwide theatrical agent for the estate of Irving Berlin. The Irving Berlin Collection, which includes Annie Get Your Gun, White Christmas and Holiday Inn, has been championed through Concord’s R&H Theatricals imprint for over thirty years.

The newly formed J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company will present the 1962 hit musical, No Strings, with book by Samuel Taylor, and music and lyrics by Richard Rodgers. Performances begin performance Thursday, February 27, 2020 at 7:30pm and continue through March 8, 2020 at Theatre Row (410 West 42nd Street – between 9th and Dyer Avenues). The newly formed J2 Spotlight Musical Theater Company presents the last of the three productions in the company's inaugural 2020 season: the 2001 musical, A Class Act, with book by Linda Kline and Lonny Price, and music and lyrics by Edward Kleban. PUNK ROCK GIRL by Joe Iconis to Receive Developmental Reading

Lively McCabe Entertainment recently announced Punk Rock Girl, a new musical for the stage featuring a score of popular songs written and made famous by female artists and female-fronted bands including Blondie, Avril Lavigne, Joan Jett, P!nk, Gwen Stefani and more. A new collaboration with BMG and R&H Theatricals, A Concord Music Company, the musical features a book and arrangements by Tony Award-nominee Joe Iconis (Be More Chill). The project will be directed and choreographed by Jennifer Werner (The Black Suits), with co-arrangements and orchestrations by Rob Rokicki (composer/lyricist of The Lightning Thief: The Percy Jackson Musical). Punk Rock Girl will be published and licensed by R&H Theatricals, A Concord Music Company.

Oakland School for the Arts in Oakland, California will present the world premiere amateur youth production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's newest Broadway smash hit, School of Rock - The Musical, as the hit musical continues its professional Broadway run at the Winter Garden Theatre (1634 Broadway) in New York City.  In an unprecedented move, Lloyd Webber teamed up with R&H Theatricals prior to the show's Broadway opening on November 6, 2015 to make youth performance rights available to schools and youth theatres across the U.S. and Canada. Our Productions Theatre Co. is anything but ordinary. Neither is the first musical of their 2015 Inaugural Season, Ordinary Days. The regional premiere of the acclaimed new production, is written by Adam Gwon, a composer and lyricist named one of '50 to Watch' by The Dramatist magazine, and winner of the 2008 Fred Ebb award for excellence in musical theater songwriting. The 2013 Broadway musical FIRST DATE, a hysterical and hopeful musical about the chances we all take to find love, is now available for Professional Theatrical licensing from R&H Theatricals, and its score will be published by Imagem Music, each a division of the Imagem Music Group. The original musical features music and lyrics by Alan Zachary and Michael Weiner (Disney's TWICE CHARMED) and a book by Austin Winsberg (TV's "Gossip Girl", "Jake in Progress").
