Spire Center for Performing Arts in Plymouth, MA announces new shows including Uncle John's Banjo, Donna The Buffalo, Joe Louis Walker, A Band Of Brothers, Peter Rowan, and The Smack Dabs.

Acclaimed NYC guitarist, singer, and songwriter Steve Conte releases new single 'Girl With No Name.' Over the years he's also worked with Peter Wolf, Eric Burdon of The Animals, Willy DeVille, Billy Squier, Maceo Parker, Willie Nile, Jim Jones, Hubert Sumlin and has even been Paul Simon's rehearsal vocalist for solo & Simon And Garfunkel tours.

The Spire Center for Performing Arts in Plymouth, MA announced three new shows. New England's premier Gypsy Jazz Group Rhythm Future Quartet will perform on January 12,  Boston all-star group A Band of Killers on February 3, and Steve Forbert & Freedy Johnston on February 9.  Learn more about the show lineup here!

New York City guitarist, singer and songwriter Steve Conte has released a new single, co-written with Andy Partridge (XTC) titled 'Fourth of July.' The song also features drummer Prairie Prince ( The Tubes & Todd Rundgren) who played on XTC’s classic album, 'Skylarking.' On bass is Steve's brother John Conte, with Andrew Hollander on piano.

Andy Mientus (“Spring Awakening”), Krystina Alabado (“Mean Girls”) and Noah J. Ricketts (“Disney’s Frozen”) will star in a new production of Jonathan Larson’s “Tick, Tick … Boom!” as part of Bucks County Playhouse’s 2023 Season. 

​​​​​​​ The Cabot announced that Peter Wolf will return Saturday, October 1, 2022 with his band The Midnight Travelers. This will be Peter's only Boston appearance this fall. Tickets go on sale this Friday, August 19th at 10:00am with Cabot Club presale on Wednesday, June 23rd at 10:00am.

The Cabot has announced that Peter Wolf will perform December 4, 2021 with his band The Midnight Travelers in a benefit concert to support Someone Else's Child, an organization committed to empowering  the lives of underserved children and teens.

Two Bird Stone is a dynamic new band founded by singer/songwriter Liam Thomas Bailey and featuring some of Nashville's and New York's finest musicians. The band formed in 2019 and will release their debut album, Hands & Knees, on September 11th via Soundly Music.

Little Steven, aka Steven Van Zandt, is commemorating today's 30th anniversary of Nelson Mandela's historic release from a South African prison after 27 years in captivity with the announcement that his 1985 landmark protest album, Sun City, by Artists United Against Apartheid, the extraordinary supergroup brought together by Van Zandt, producer Arthur Baker and journalist Danny Schechter to fight racial injustice in South Africa, will be released on vinyl for the first time since its initial release 35 years ago. The long-out-of-print LP joins five additional classic albums from Van Zandt making all of Little Steven's records from his early career once again available on vinyl. 

The Granada Theatre, in partnership with Community Arts Music Association (CAMA) of Santa Barbara, Opera Santa Barbara, State Street Ballet, and the Santa Barbara Symphony, will present a special benefit performance of Peter and the Wolf, Sergei Prokofiev's enchanting musical tale of adventure and bravery, at 2 pm on Sunday, February 23. The performance will feature the Santa Barbara Youth Symphony, under the baton of Maestro Nir Kabaretti, with narration by renowned theatre scholar Simon Williams, who will also direct. Brief programs featuring Santa Barbara Youth Opera singers and Gustafson Dance Students from State Street Ballet will open the event. Tickets cost $10 for adults and $100 for VIP access, with proceeds benefiting the Granada Theatre. Children ages 17 and under will be admitted free of charge with a ticket.

The Boch Center and Club Passim announced today that music legend and former front man of the J.Geils Band Peter Wolf will perform as a special guest at the 60th Anniversary Concert for Club Passim, the venerable folk music venue in Harvard Square. Wolf joins the previously announced lineup that includes Grammy award-winner Patty Griffin, Josh Ritter, and Dar Williams, as well as Sol y Canto with Alisa Amador, and Canadian singer songwriter Rose Cousins at the Boch Center Shubert Theatre on Thursday, November 14, 2019 at 8:00PM. Tickets are on sale now to the general public.
