Theatre for a New Audience Presents MEASURE FOR MEASURE, Previews 2/6

Arin Arbus, the director of last season's Theatre for a New Audience production of Othello, will direct the Bard's provocative, funny and modern comedy, Measure for Measure, for a limited engagement that begins previews Saturday, February 6, for an opening Sunday, February 14, at 7:00pm.

Following enthusiastic reviews, The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) will extend the world premiere of IDIOT SAVANT, written and directed by Richard Foreman, through Sunday, December 20. Presented in association with Ontological-Hysteric Theater, IDIOT SAVANT began previews October 27 and was originally scheduled to close on Sunday, December 13.

The Public Theater (Artistic Director Oskar Eustis; Executive Director Andrew D. Hamingson) presented the New York premiere of THE LAST CARGO CULT, created and performed by Mike Daisey and directed by Jean-Michele Gregory in the Public's Newman Theater. THE LAST CARGO CULT began previews on Thursday, December 3 and will continue through Sunday, December 13. The official press opening was on Monday, December 7 at 7 p.m. Single tickets are currently on sale.
