Festival producers Doug Nevin and Michael Urie, in partnership with Rattlestick Playwrights Theater, and Festival Director Nick Mayo announce casting for the benefit closing night reading of Some Men, written by Terrence McNally

As BroadwayWorld reported last summer, Alchemation and Kevin McCollum plan to bring a musical version of MRS. DOUBTFIRE to Broadway! Four-time Tony Award Winner Jerry Zaks will direct, joined by Tony Award Nominees John O'Farrell and Karey Kirkpatrick (book) and Karey and Wayne Kirkpatrick (music and lyrics).

Olivier Award winner Lesli Margherita plays 'Cindy Lou Who' in the world premiere of Matthew Lombardo's new comedy with a twist of rhyme, WHO'S HOLIDAY! directed by Carl Andress, which celebrated its opening last night, November 28. In its first segment, THEATER TALK focuses on the play TINY BEAUTIFUL THINGS, now in a highly successful run at The Public Theater. It was adapted for the stage by one of the episode's guests, actor/writer Nia Vardalos, who also stars in the production, co-conceived by the other guest in the segment, writer/columnist Marshall Heyman.

We cannot wait to watch the 2016 Revival of SHE LOVES ME tonight on PBS at 9pm! We have anxiously been awaiting to see our favorite performances, from Ilona's iconic split done perfectly by Jane Krakowski or 'Vanilla Ice Cream' sung beautifully by Laura Benanti.

Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company welcomed Kelli O'Hara (Lilli Vanessi), Will Chase (FrEd Graham), Robert Fairchild (Bill), Helene Yorke (Lois), Chuck Cooper (Harry Trevor/Baptista), Norm Lewis (Harrison), Richard Kind (Gangster) and John Pankow (Gangster) for a one-night-only Benefit Concert Reading of Kiss Me, Kate, with music and lyrics by Cole Porter and book by Sam and Bella Spewack, music direction by Patrick Vaccariello and choreography by Warren Carlyle. Roundabout's Associate Artistic Director, Scott Ellis, directed this special event.
