2012 Tony Award-winning Best Actor In a Play, James Corden, has been cast as The Baker in Rob Marshall's feature film version of Stephen Sondheim and James Lapine's INTO THE WOODS according to a new official casting notice that has gone out.

The Actors Fund's annual gala tonight, April 29, 2013 at the New York Marriott Marquis will honor Academy Award-winning actor Robert De Niro, the pay television company HBO and entrepreneur/film producer and Fund trustee Steve Kalafer. The trio will receive the Medal of Honor, the highest award from the 130-year old non-profit human services organization.

In a recent interview with CNN Barbra Streisand spoke about women directors in Hollywood and why she believes they still do not enjoy the same success as their male counterparts. 'I just don't think they've come far enough,' says the Academy Award winner. 'Women still get paid seventy seven cents on the dollar and we're not really equal yet.'
