Between loyal local patrons, a Gofundme campaign, and the contributions of many Alt Cabaret stars, PANGEA is still hangin' in there after ten months of the global health crisis. Everyone is pitching in to do all they can to keep the beloved home of Alt Cabaret alive and well and living in the Lower East Side.

On Saturday, November 14 from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM, Theater for the New City (TNC), 155 First Ave., will inaugurate 'Open 'Tho Shut,' a weekly series of free, live walk-by performances in which acts will be staged live in the theater's set shop for audiences of socially distanced passers-by, who will watch through an open garage door.

The Composers Showcase has joined forces with WE/EC (stage technicians and backstage workers) and will present the first live showcase since March when The Smith Center was closed due to the pandemic. The Composers Showcase will kick off On With the Show! a 4-night live-streamathon on YouTube and Twitch beginning in the evening on Oct. 23 and continuing in the evenings Oct. 24-26.

Tickets just went on sale for two of the most wildly original club acts in New York… Both are here before the election, fulfilling Pangea's promise to inaugurate shows taped on our jewelbox stage for at-home audiences.  The new series is called Pangea's “Ghost Light Series.”

Families and theaters across the country re-imagine Halloween Entertainment with FunikiJam's ROCK OR TREAT: Halloween Week! Friday, October 2 through Sunday, October 4 the Provincetown Tennessee Williams Theater Festival, organized around the theme of Tennessee Williams & Censorship, will be holding the Tennessee Williams Institute online with a constellation of scholars and theater artists from around the world.

The Pittsburgh Cultural Trust announced with a heavy heart last month that the 34th Annual EQT Children's Theater Festival that Pittsburgh has come to know and love would not be physically taking place throughout the Cultural District this year. Since that announcement, the Festival organizers have worked nonstop with featured performing artists, local artists, organizations, and more to bring the community a re-imagined version of the Festival that they can enjoy in the comfort of their own home.
