Jason Rabinowitz, Christina Sajous, Jennifer Sanchez and Frederick Weller will join the previously announced Renee Elise Goldsberry in I'm Getting My Act Together and Taking It on the Road, the final Encores! Off-Center presentation of the 2013 season, playing for five performances, July 24 - 27. The show will be directed and choreographed byKathleen Marshall, with music direction by Chris Fenwick. Jeanine Tesori is the Encores! Off-Center artistic director. In keeping with City Center's founding mission to make the arts accessible to all and to attract younger audiences, the majority of tickets are $25.

MCC Theater recently announced that Neil LaBute's new play, Reasons to be Happy, also directed by LaBute, will now extend through Saturday, June 29th. Reasons to Be Happy is a companion piece to LaBute's critically-acclaimed award-winning play,Reasons to Be Pretty, first produced at MCC Theater in 2008 before moving to Broadway where it was nominated for three 2009 Tony Awards, including Best Play. According to The Stage, original Broadway cast members Colman Domingo and Forrest McClendon will reprise their roles of Mr Bones and Mr Tambo respectively, in The Scottsboro Boys at the Young Vic this Fall. The production is set to run October 18 through November 23.
