Off-Center presentation of the 2013 season, playing for five performances, July 24 - 27. The show will be directed and choreographed byKathleen Marshall, with music direction by Chris Fenwick. Jeanine Tesori is the Encores! Off-Center artistic director. In keeping with City Center's founding mission to make the arts accessible to all and to attract younger audiences, the majority of tickets are $25.

MCC Theater recently announced that Neil LaBute's new play, Reasons to be Happy, also directed by LaBute, will now extend through Saturday, June 29th. The Guthrie today announced that two-time Tony Award nominee and Obie and Drama Desk Award winner Brian d'Arcy James joins the artist line-up for BEHOLD: A Gala Performance, honoring 50 years of the Guthrie, onSaturday, June 22, 2013. James is slated to sing an original song based on excerpts of text from Hamlet, as previously announced, which is being composed by Tony Award-winning composer Jason Robert Brown specifically for the celebratory evening.

According to the Associated Press, Lincoln Center for the Performing Arts has selected its new president -- Broadway producer Jed Bernstein, who led the Broadway League from 1995-2006. Bernstein will replace current leader Reynold Levy.

According to The Stage, original Broadway cast members Colman Domingo and Forrest McClendon will reprise their roles of Mr Bones and Mr Tambo respectively, in The Scottsboro Boys at the Young Vic this Fall. The production is set to run October 18 through November 23.
