Giamatti, Thornton, & More to Star in JFK Film, PARKLAND

Paul Giamatti, Billy Bob Thornton, and Jacki Weaver have all officially signed deals to star in PARKLAND, the upcoming film based upon John F. Kennedy's assassination. Tom Hanks and Gary Goetzman are set to produce through Playtone, with Exclusive Media financing the flick.

Just last night, the five-time Tony Award nominated Broadway musical ROCK OF AGES hosted a Military Tribute Night, at which 160 Active Duty, Retired & Veteran members of the U.S. Military were given free tickets to the show, and one Veteran in attendance received the Grand Prize of a new mortgage-free home, courtesy of The Boot Campaign and Benchmark Mortgage.

Submarine Entertainment announced today that it has sold US DVD/Digital/VOD rights to Cinedigm Entertainment Group to Oscar Nominated Director Liz Garbus's feature documentary film LOVE MARILYN. Submarine previously sold US TV rights to HBO Documentary Films at the Toronto Film Festival and has also sold all Canadian rights to Mongrel Media and Airline Rights to Jaguar Distribution.

Nick Cordero, an original member of the first national tour cast of ROCK OF AGES, joins the Broadway cast of the five-time Tony nominated hit musical on September 24, 2012 at the Helen Hayes Theatre (240 West 44th Street). Cordero, who will make his Broadway debut, is stepping in for Adam Dannheisser as "Dennis," the owner of The Bourbon Room, while he is on leave to play a role in Disgraced at Lincoln Center Theater's Claire Tow Theater from September 24 - November 18, 2012. Dannheisser returns to ROCK OF AGES on November 19, 2012.
