Jeffrey Kringer , Betsy Stewart & Taylor Pearlstein Will Lead CRUEL INTENTIONS National Tour

In celebration of the 20th anniversary of the cult classic film Cruel Intentions, producers have announced the casting for the North American tour of the Off-Broadway smash hit Cruel Intentions: The 90s Musical. Following sold-out runs in Los Angeles and a critically acclaimed, sold-out run in New York City, the new musical - a stage adaptation of Roger Kumble's 1999 cult-hit film, created by Jordan Ross, Lindsey Rosin & Roger Kumble - will launch its first national tour at Proctors in Schenectady, NY on March 29, 2019. The production will play over 18 cities this Spring.

Christmas is coming early this year! Lifetime sleighs the 2018 holiday season this year with the network's It's a Wonderful Lifetime lineup, featuring 14 all-new original movies and nine acquired films. Kicking off on November 21 with a special week featuring five nights of premieres, each week of the holiday season will feature new movies every Friday, Saturday and Sunday, it was announced today by Tanya Lopez, EVP, Movies, Limited Series and Original Movie Acquisitions, Lifetime and LMN.

For its 22nd consecutive year, the west coast Actors Fund celebrated Broadway's Biggest Night at their 22nd Annual Tony Awards® Viewing Party on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, CA. This year's gala honored Tony-nominated book writer ('Wicked') and Emmy-nominated writer and producer ('My So Called Life') Winnie Holzman with the Julie Harris Award for Artistic Achievement. Kirsten Vangsness hosted with special appearances by Shoshana Bean, Wilson Cruz, Paul Dooley and Jessica Marie Garcia. BroadwayWorld's own Michael Sterling caught the action on the 'green' carpet with many of the night's celebrity guests for BWW TV Los Angeles.

Just last night, the 2018 Lucille Lortel Awards for Outstanding Achievement Off-Broadway were handed out to recipients in 19 categories, with three honorary awards also bestowed. The Lortel Awards were distributed in a ceremony at NYU Skirball Center hosted by Meteor Shower co-stars Laura Benanti and Jeremy Shamos. This year's event was once again a benefit for The Actors Fund.

Director and playwright Stan Zimmerman has found his quartet of actors for his new comedy Knife to the Heart, co-written with Christian McLaughlin. The show will play a limited run of 3 WEEKS ONLY for 9 performances (May 4-20) at the Dorie Theatre, part of The Complex on LA's famed Theatre Row (6476 Santa Monica Blvd, LA CA 90038). Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm. The cast includes Chelsea Kane ('Baby Daddy'), Todd Sherry ('Parks & Recreation'), Josh Zuckerman (A Delicate Ship) and four-time Emmy-nominee Patricia Richardson ('Home Improvement'). Due to popular demand, CRUEL INTENTIONS the new musical nightlife experience based on Roger Kumble's 1999 cult-hit film has extended a second time, adding an additional 4 weeks to its New York Premiere engagement. The musical, which began performances on Friday, November 17, 2017, opened on Monday, December 11 at downtown hotspot (le) Poisson Rouge (158 Bleecker Street), will now play through Friday, March 16, 2018.
