Roundabout Theatre Company has announced three productions as part of the 2011-2012 theatrical season. Bob Fosse's Dancin', a masterful tribute to legendary choreographer Bob Fosse, directed by Graciela Daniele, will play Studio 54 in the Fall of 2011. Sons of the Prophet by Stephen Karam, directed by Peter DuBois, will also premiere this Fall, while Look Back in Anger by John Osborne, directed by Sam Gold, will hit the stage in the Winter of 2012.

A one-night-only encore benefit performance of Being Harold Pinter on February 21 at 7:30pm has just been added to Belarus Free Theatre's (BFT) sold-out engagement-concluding an historic theatrical event for the City of Chicago. Goodman Theatre, the League of Chicago Theatres and Chicago Shakespeare Theater together present this special event in which members from Chicago's theater community join the Belarusian company on stage during the moving climactic moments of Being Harold Pinter. Chicago participants will be announced closer to the event. The February 21, 7:30pm benefit takes place Upstairs at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. The Voice's chief theater critic, Michael Feingold, will again chair the Obie Awards committee. Joining him will be Voice critic Alexis Soloski and four guest judges: Critic Hilton Als of The New Yorker; playwright David Henry Hwang, a three-time Obie Award winner for his plays F.O.B., Golden Child, and Yellow Face; director Evan Yionoulis, an Obie award winner for her production of Richard Greenberg's Three Days of Rain; and critic Andy Propst, of TheaterMania AmericanTheaterWeb.com (and also a frequent Voice contributor), who will again serve as secretary to the committee.

The John W. Engeman Theater is proud to announce the cast and creative team for their upcoming production of Cabaret, which begins previews on Thursday, February 3, 2011 at 8:00pm and officially opens on February 5, 2011 at 8:00pm. Cabaret will run until March 27, 2011. This production is based on the 1998 Broadway revival choreographed and co-directed by Rob Marshall and directed by Sam Mendes.
