Emily Bergl Reprises 'Kidding On Square' Cabaret, 11/21-12/19

This fall actress and singer Emily Bergl, star of Broadway, films, and 'Desperate Housewives,' garnered raves from critics and sold out audiences for her debut cabaret at the Oak Room. Stephen Holden of the NY Times declared Ms. Bergl to be 'a natural stage entertainer who suggests a multiple exposure of Carol Burnett, Bette Midler and Madonna, without really resembling any of them' and 'a gust of fresh air that could knock you off your feet.' By popular demand, Ms. Bergl will reprise her cabaret show, 'Kidding on the Square,' for five Monday nights only, November 21 through December 19 at the Oak Room at the Algonquin Hotel.

Daryl Roth, producer of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, today announced that Chicago's premier engagement of LOVE, LOSS, AND WHAT I WORE, which kicked off the show's first national tour on Sep. 18, 2011, is extended by popular demand through Jan. 1, 2012 at the Broadway Playhouse at Water Tower Place (175 E. Chestnut St.) and Dawn Wells (Gilligan's Island) joins the star-studded cast on Dec. 6, 2011. Individual tickets are on sale now.

Nora Ephron and Delia Ephron's hit Off Broadway show, Love, Loss, and What I Wore, welcomed its newest cast, including comedian and journalist Jenny Allen (I Got Sick Then I Got Better), Broadway actress Maddie Corman (Next Fall), TV and stage veteran Eve Plumb ('The Brady Bunch'), and TV newcomer Amanda Setton ('Gossip Girl,' 'One Life to Live') on Thursday, November 3. They join returning cast member Zuzanna Szadkowski ('Gossip Girl'). The new cast performs through December 4, 2011.

Producer Daryl Roth announced today that stand up comedian and writer Jenny Allen (I Got Sick Then I Got Better), TV and stage veteran Eve Plumb ('The Brady Bunch') and 'Gossip Girl' actress Amanda Setton will join the upcoming cast of the hit Off Broadway show Love, Loss, and What I Wore. They join current cast member Zuzanna Szadkowski ('Gossip Girl'), who will stay on for her fourth cast, and previously announced cast member Maddie Corman (Next Fall) in a run that begins Wednesday, November 2 through Sunday, December 4 at the Westside Theatre (407 West 43 Street).

Cinnabar Theater presents the 'She Loves Me,' the charming musical adaptation from the Hungarian 1936 play 'Parfumerie,' by Miklos Laszlo. Directed by Elly Lichenstein, with musical direction by Mary Chun, the production opens Sept. 9 and continues with performances through Sept. 25, 2011.
