Joe’s Pub has announced upcoming shows for February 13-26. The lineup features Ian Manuel, singer-songwriter and Guitar virtuoso Sunny War, Lea Delaria, multi-instrumentalist Jay Rodriguez Sierra, Jackie Hoffman, and Justin Vivian Bond, and more. 

Pangea, a vital incubator for new work crossing boundaries between theatre, music and elsewhere, will present a diverse mix of entertainers in February.  Among the highlights are several Pangea favorites returning with special encores of their popular and well-reviewed shows.

Harlem Stage and Maysles Documentary Center have brought together a consortium of six Harlem-based arts organizations to produce a rich celebration of Ralph Ellison’s seminal novel Invisible Man — marking the 70th anniversary of the book’s publication.

Sophia Ramos's No Parental Guidance is back by popular demand at Pangea NYC. No Parental Guidance is an intimate theatrical one-woman show, set to music and spoken word, telling of loss, love, and chosen family. No Parental Guidance is about the life of a perpetually irreverent Nuyorican rock singer, cutting her teeth on the downtown '80s and '90s music scenes of New York City, thriving in the back alleys, storefronts, and parks.

The incomparable Kahil El'Zabar and his award-winning Ethnic Heritage Ensemble are returning to The Encore, this time bringing a unique Modern Exploration of the American Songbook. El'Zabar's ensemble last appeared on The Encore's Maas stage one year ago with Modern Jazz Meets Musical Theatre, which was met with great enthusiasm and acclaim. 

Harlem Stage is continuing its season-long series Black Arts Movement: Examined with an evening convening playwright, journalist, librettist, novelist, poet, and screenwriter Thulani Davis; Pulitzer Prize-nominated trumpeter and composer Wadada Leo Smith; and Smith’s Kikuyu Ensemble.

The KI KI Experience, a brand- new sound of Alt. Rock, Funk, and Soul- enriched with breathtakingly warm and powerful vocals, will headline at New York City's legendary Joe's Pub for the first time on Saturday February 4, 2023.

Last night, shortly before the show was about to begin, the official opening night of The Collaboration was cancelled due to a case of Covid-19 in the cast detected during pre-show testing. Harlem Stage has announced full programming for Spring 2023, continuing its Black Arts Movement: Examined series examining the 1960s/70s cultural movement led by Black artists, activists, and intellectuals.

For spring 2023 Works & Process will present a robust series at the Guggenheim Museum, Lincoln Center, and The New York Public Library for the Performing Arts. Programs provide audiences with unprecedented access to creative process blending artist discussions and performance highlights.

Joe's Pub will present the return of In Concert, the venue’s annual series with fellow Public Theater program the Under the Radar Festival, which will run January 4-22, 2023.

Park Avenue Armory will begin its 2023 Season with Symposium: Sound & Color - The Future of Race in Design, an interdisciplinary forum exploring how race matters in creative design for live performance, especially in the current moment of creative, technological, and cultural unrest.

Damon Daunno (Oklahoma!; Hadestown; The Lucky Ones), Amber Gray (Macbeth, Hadestown, Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812), Grace McLean (Suffs, Natasha, Pierre & The Great Comet of 1812; In The Green) and Margo Seibert (Octet, Rocky, In Transit) are scheduled to perform in a narrated concert of songs from Love The Struggle at Joe's Pub on tonight at 7 pm. The concert is currently sold out, but additional tickets may be released prior to the show.

Tony, Emmy, and GRAMMY Award-winning performing artist André De Shields ('Hadestown,' 'Ain't Misbehavin,' 'The Wiz') joins award-winning filmmaker and photographer Sekou Luke (Notes from Harlem) and noted music journalist Christian John Wikane (PopMatters) at The Loft at City Winery on Monday, November 28 for 'Unscripted Live.'
